"Amazon Children"

| The village of Indiana, Peru is located
a little less than an hour's boat ride downriver from Iquitos. We found
the people there to be warm and gracious. The children in this photograph
were sitting on the laps of their mothers. The mothers of the children
kindly gave me permission to photograph the children but apparently didn't
care to be in the photo as well. The youngsters were vivacious
and interested in the curious photographer outside their window.
