Boquete
is a town located in the mountains of Panama. It is a charming town
filled with an incredible diveristy of people. The characteristics
that draw people from all over the world are the lush cloud forest, the
rich coffee, and the immense variety of flowers. Boquete is
a town that has beautiful flowers growing wild along the paths, the hills,
and the streets. It is also a place to find world-famous coffee growers.
I took a tour of a coffee plantation and learned the A to Z of processing
coffee in a modern facility. The photo above is of the old coffee
mill. The owner is hoping to revitalize this old mill into working
conditions again.
